Fused cast AZS block introduction
The raw material of fused cast AZS block series are zircon sand ,industrial alumina powder and Silica, short for AZS block. AZS refers to alumina, zirconia and silica.
Fused cast AZS block has good slag eroding and corrosion resistance. With excellent heat resistance and thermal shock resistance, the furnace not change under high temperature.
Fused cast AZS block casting methord
Fused cast AZS block has four cast method:
PT-Normal casting, shrinkage cavities are located on the upper part of block, just under the in-pouring hole.
QX-Tit casting,the fused cast mold is tilting,so the shrinkage cavities spread over the ridge close to in-pouring hole. And the rest part is definitely dense.
ZWS- End casting,The casting track almost like WS is the cast method without shrinkage cavities (ZWS). By using this method, there is a little cavities on the block.
WS-Void free casting, this method is vertical casting with special shrink head, and the shrinkage cavities focus around the shrink head. After annealing, the shrinkage cavities part will be cut off based on the certain sizes. So the block we finally get has no shrinkage cavities.

Fused cast AZS block series
According to the zirconium’ percentage in block,fused cast AZS block can be classfied into three models which are fused cast AZS 33 block, fused cast AZS 36 block and fused cast AZS 33 block. Different model with different zircon content have different index of chemical and physical, also with different usage.

Fused cast AZS block application
Fused cast AZS block widely used for the whole glass furnace, you can find it everywhere of the furnace, such as bottom of melting tank, sidewall of working tank, superstructure, feed port, doghouse, paving block, front wall, back wall, top crown, refiner bottom and side wall...
